My name is Claire. I’m a self-taught artist, illustrator and watercolourist from the UK, and I work in both traditional and digital mediums - though my main passion is for creating watercolour illustrations.

I have had a passion for creating art since I was able to hold a pencil. Back in school, I had a reputation for being a relentless doodler! I ended up taking a decade long hiatus from art due to a series of personal tragedies, though I eventually picked up a pencil again in 2016 along with a paintbrush. With encouragement from my husband Tom and some friends, I started taking commissions for work of all sorts - portraits, game pieces, wrestling merchandise - and continue to do so.

I’ve also created a mythical type of beast called Bernards - these tall, cute, furry creatures are featured in a lot of my work.

Outside of art, my life is ruled by my six-year-old daughter Cassie and a speedy Lurcher pup named Susie. I love to play video games, listen to true crime and horror podcasts, pick up new crafts and spend time with my friends.
